Sake Chef’s Dinner at West End Kitchen

Join West End Kitchen for an evening clebrating a merge of Japanese culture, cuisine, and local ingredients all while learning about the complex world of sake and catching up on their recent adventures in Japan! This delicious 5 course dinner and sake pairings, collaborated with Koshu Sake Bar, includes education on sake, from growing the rice to the styles in the bottle, as well as photos and stories from their trip to Japan, japanese music, culture, and more!

 

Menu:

1st: local mixed greens with melon & cherry blossom vinaigrette

  • Izumibashi Black Dragonfly Kimoto Junmai

2nd: dual course of yuzu ceviche & miso soup

  • Heiwa Shuzou Junmai Ginjo

3rd: sea bass w/ mango pineapple chutney

  • Komari Tropical Junmai Daiginjo

4th: apple and sweet potato curry (choice of chicken or vegetarian curry)

  • Amabuki Sakura Fubuki Sasanigori

5th course: strawberry mochi

  • Nanbu Bijin “Southern Beauty” Tokubetsu Junmai
